Looking for money...

Ah, the State of the State, and it's doom and gloom. Rather short of money, warm-bodies vs. programs, we swim or sink together, blah-blah, rah-rah.

I think they've stolen all the monies they can, and have squeezed more from where they can... time to cut. It is not going to be pretty.

Tis the Season, 2009

Ah, it's another Legislative season. But this year, the belts are a lot tighter. Lots of egos, turf-protection. We shall see what the session brings us this time.

Rain, then shoot

Always nice to shoot after it rains. The air is clean, and there is a lot of stuff to reflect light.

It is 6AM, local. Just got back from kicking off some maintenance stuff at work.

It is raining, there is a thunderstorm just offshore, and I am tired. Hope this is not a portent of things this year.
