I do use it a lot at home but I tend to give it a pass when I go to the photo meets...too heavy to lug around. That's why I'd like to get something lighter with a better ball head. But that's all in the future...after the furloughs. Have 2 Gitzos, 1 Manfrotto (055XProB), and this one. 3 RRS ballheads, which is probably the more important part, in my opinion.<br /><br />If you don't use it often, I would stay with the Manfrotto.
